Royal Acclamation has steamed in from 5.0 to 3.3 for a top yard, but he's an unraced debutant and that move, plus the hot Appleux/Charlie Appleby form, is already baked into a price that leaves no real margin for me. Neither horse clears the bar for my own money at these prices, so I'm passing this maiden.

Split Elevens arrives without a workable price line despite winning last time out over today's course and trip, so there's no way to weigh that form against value even if I fancied it most on ability.

What we said: Won last time out (1/6, 5f good-to-firm) off a rock-solid recent sequence, carries the fastest habitual early pace in this field (1.88) which suits a downhill Lingfield 5f, and her dam's line by Sea The Stars is flagged to relish today's standard going. The 5lb claim from Elle-May Croot lightens the load further and the profile (dist form 3151) shows a filly still improving into this grade.
